Wan Fang

Heralded as the “Queen of Soulful Vocals”, Wan Fang sang countless classics in the 90s, and is especially known throughout the Chinese community for her hit song New Everlasting Love. She has released 22 solo albums; her early works had a gentle, resounding style
that tugged on listeners’ heartstrings; in recent years she has shown the world her more cultured side and creative talents, delving into a variety of fields, including music, broadcasting, theatre, television, and movies. 

In addition to winning Golden Bell Awards for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, she has repeatedly been nominated as Best Woman Singer at the Golden Melody Awards. In 2022, thirty years since she began her career as a musician, Wan Fang released the album Dear All. Full of brand new material, the album was nominated for seven major awards at the 32nd Golden Melody Awards, and won the Grand Jury Prize. In 2023, Wan Fang starred in Malaysian filmmaker Chong Keat Aun’s Snow in Midsummer, which was nominated at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, and was shortlisted for nine Golden Horse Awards. Wan Fang was personally nominated for both Best Supporting Actress and Best Original Film Song, and was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2024 Asian Film Awards. She is currently going on a concert tour titled ‘Wan Fang – Sunshine On’.
