Fish Huang

At 18 years old, FishHuang is the youngest performer to be named Best Drummer in Asia at Yamaha Asian Beat. Today he has contributed to and released countless albums of work,and is currently the designated drummer for superstar Andy Lau’s world tour. Fish Huang has collaborated with numerous musicians, including Eason Chan, Sky Wu, Richie Jen, Michael Wong, Joey Yung, Gigi Leung, Tia Ray, Crowd Lu, WeiBird, 9m88, Eve Ai, and Ailing Tai.

In addition to working in the pop music industry, Fish has been active in the jazz circle for even longer, and has been invited to play at major jazz music events like the Java Jazz Festival, Jazzopen Stuttgart in Germany, the JZ Festival,Shanghai, Taichung Jazz Festival, and Hong Kong Jazz Festival, and in 2020 was invited to serve as a judge for the Taiwan Golden Indie Music Awards. In recent years Fish
has devoted himself to music education, establishing the ‘Learn To Be Pro’ online academy in Taiwan and Hong Kong. He also operates the YouTube channel ‘Fish Huang Classroom’. He is currently a representative for Canopus Drums, Meinl Cymbals, Schlagwerk, and Vater Drumsticks, a drummer for the band R.O.O.T, and instructs at TNUA.
