During her years there, she also received coaching from the famous virtuosi in ruan, Lin Jiliang, Ning Yong and Liu Xing.
In 1999, Cui won a Class One Award for Solo at the Conservatory’s 9th Chinese Instrumental Music Competition. In 2002, she won a Bronze Award for Ruan – Youth Section in that specialism at the First Traditional Instrumental Music.
Cui joined the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra in 2005. She collaborated with the famous virtuoso, Feng Xiaoxian, in the premiere performance of An Autumn Gathering by the Campfire in the HKCO concert, ‘Musical Journeys with Three Virtuosi’ in 2011.
