The Majestic Drums concert series is a part of the ever popular Hong Kong Drum Festival, first created in the post-SARS days in 2003 to help Hong Kong to rally round, and soon it has grown into an exciting, rousing show that sweeps the audience off their feet. The concert unites a number of excellent local percussionists for a unique collaboration - the HKCO’s Percussion Principal Luk Kin Bun performing the Percussion Concerto Cang Cai - a memorial for 2003, while Four Gig Heads’ Music Director, Angus Fu and HKCO’s percussionist Chan Lut Ting join hands performing Percussion Concerto Storm.
