Since ancient times, the bright moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival has marked a cherished time for reunion,moon-gazing and longing for loved ones.


This year celebrates the third season of artistic collaboration between the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and theHong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as conductor and HKUST alumnus Rupert Woo leadsthe orchestra on campus with gaohu virtuoso Dick Mak and pipa principal Zhang Ying as soloists. Through the unique charm of Chinese orchestral music, the programme mingles the Mid-Autumn spirit with a vibrant university atmosphere as audiences savour the timeless elegance of this thousand-year-old tradition
